WEDGWOOD x STEVE CORDONY:
A CHRISTMAS MASTERCLASS AT ELIZABETH BAY HOUSE
In December, Wedgwood partnered with renowned stylist Steve Cordony to host a series of intimate Christmas Masterclasses at the historic Elizabeth Bay House in Sydney. Held across three events on the 10th and 11th of December, the experience celebrated festive entertaining, timeless design and the art of refined table styling.
Guests were welcomed with live music on arrival, setting an elegant tone for the evening. Against the backdrop of Elizabeth Bay House’s heritage interiors, Steve Cordony shared his approach to Christmas entertaining, offering insight into creating layered, considered tablescapes that feel both luxurious and inviting.
Central to the masterclass was Silver Tonquin, chosen for its ornate detailing and polished silver finish. Steve demonstrated how the collection’s rich motifs and sculptural presence bring depth and drama to the festive table, while remaining beautifully balanced and versatile for modern entertaining.
Following the masterclass, guests explored a curated selection of Wedgwood pieces, including the iconic Portland vases. With their architectural forms and contemporary elegance, the collection showcased Wedgwood’s ability to blend heritage craftsmanship with modern design.
The Wedgwood x Steve Cordony Christmas Masterclass was a celebration of thoughtful entertaining — where creativity, craftsmanship and festive tradition came together in an unforgettable setting.
