On a spring evening in early October, Wedgwood joined Gourmet Traveller for an intimate dinner at Maison Batard — the newly crowned Best New Restaurant at the Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards. SETTING THE SCENE

The evening unfolded within Maison Batard’s refined, softly lit dining room — an elegant backdrop for a celebration of modern entertaining. Guests gathered around tables dressed in Wedgwood’s Gio, Gio Gold, and Lunar Cutlery where contemporary geometric textures met the warmth of gilded accents. Together, the collections created a tablescape that was both timeless and expressive of the Maison Batard aesthetic: sophisticated, thoughtful, and quietly confident.

The panel of special guests followed with Anne Sullivan of Fiskars Group, and Chris Lucas of Lucas Group, who toasted to the Maison Batard’s extraordinary achievements.
