Spencer Falls is no stranger to the concept of self-expression. Originally from New Zealand, the self-proclaimed unlikely florist with a studio in Venice (Los Angeles), challenges the preconceptions of floral artistry and design by blurring the lines between performance, floristry and fine art.<\/span><\/h3>\n

We spoke to him about inspiration, style and the art of entertaining.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Tell us a bit about yourself.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

I’m a florist in Venice Beach, California. Originally from New Zealand, it was snowboarding that brought me to America some ten years ago. After a good nudge pursuing acting, I found myself the role of a lifetime selling flowers from my\u00a0 VW camper van as The Unlikely Florist.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Describe your personal style. Where do you seek inspiration?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Natural tones and textures are my vibe. I draw inspiration from everywhere and everyone, however nature is my biggest source of inspiration.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I like to be adaptable… it’s all about the occasion and the vibe. If the vibe is right, then it’s right and I’m down regardless of size.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
