Lord Wedgwood Collection Panther Vase

Inspired by an engine-turned black basalt vase from 1770, this modern interpretation of the Panther Vase encapsulates the very productive partnership between Josiah Wedgwood and Thomas Bentley. Many of the antique pieces that inspired Wedgwood and Bentley were used to serve wine, which is why this Panther Vase is decorated in imagery associated with the Roman god of wine, Bacchus.
