CELEBRATING CULINARY EXCELLENCE

The Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year Awards brought together Australia’s most influential chefs, restaurateurs, and tastemakers for a night that celebrated the very best in food and hospitality. As the proud tableware and trophy partner, Wedgwood played a central role in elevating the occasion —from the stage to the table.

GIO: A CANVAS FOR CULINARY ART

At the heart of the evening, Tasmania’s finest fare was served upon Wedgwood’s iconic Gio collection. Crafted from fine bone china, Gio is defined by its clean lines, contemporary form, and subtle texture — a timeless backdrop that allows food to take centre stage.

HANDCRAFTED TROPHIES, TIMELESS ICONS

Beyond the dining room, Wedgwood was also behind the night’s most symbolic pieces – the trophies. Winners were presented with plates from the Anthemion and Helia collections, each made by hand at the home of Wedgwood in Barlaston, England. With intricate detailing and 22-carat gold accents, these pieces are not just trophies but works of art — carrying with them centuries of Wedgwood craftsmanship.
