On the 17th of August, Gourmet Traveller hosted their annual Restaurant of the Year awards at Olympus in Sydney on a night to be remembered. Wedgwood are proud to be the official tableware and trophy sponsor for the evening, adorning every course from entrée to dessert.

AN EVENING WITH GIO GOLD

The table top for the evening was adorned in Gio Gold. Fine bone china in a clean, contemporary shape, detailed with an intricate hexagonal honeycomb motif and finished with a lustrous 22-carat gold rim. Each piece carrying through the evening from entree to dessert.

WEDGWOOD ICONS – THE TROPHIES

Beyond the dining room, Wedgwood was also behind the night’s most symbolic pieces – the trophies. Winners were presented with plates from the Gio Gold and Gio Blue collections, each custom engraved with the winners titles. With signatured embossed detailing and 22-carat gold accents, these pieces are not just trophies but works of art – carrying with them centuries of Wedgwood craftsmanship.
